Brian Haire, Franchise Owner, Inspector

     Brian currently holds a contractor's liscence and is well versed in construction standards. He has spent many years working hands-on in residential new construction, additions & renovations, and commercial building.

     Brian also holds a bachelors degree in chemistry with graduate studies from Piedmont UNC.

Philip LaMachio, Associate Inspector

     Philip owns a plaster restoration buisness and has completed numerous remodeling projects including bathrooms and kitchens.  Philip has a special knowledge regarding the construction and particular problems of older homes, and is a NACHI Member.

     Philip has a degree in Architecture from NCSU, and in his other life imagines he can sing like Bono from favorite Band U2

Advantage Inspection's History

     Advantage Inspection began in 1979 in Greenville, S.C. with Brent and Sonya Skidmore and  and Charlie Shipman.  Brent had a vision to take the home inspection industry beyond its current development and created the first database  software program for home inspections, setting the pace for the industry. 

     Sonya is the marketing Director and works with Becky Wilson of Charlotte to make our company an industry leader.

      Don Hershberger, former VP of ReMax has recently joined Advantage Home Warranty to guide it full-time. 

      In the world of home inspectors, there is no other company that is so well supported or ready to create solutions for an industry that is just beginning to evolve.  We are really excited to be a part of such an innovative team !
